Our mission is to maximize the learning, growth, achievement, and potential of each and every student in an environment that encourages care for the community, good citizenship, and excellence in all endeavors of life while meeting or exceeding the Arizona State Standards.
Our vision is to work with and positively impact students, parents, and the community with a traditional approach to a solid and sound education system for our children.
Our staff and teachers have high expectations for academic achievement and conduct that are clearly defined, measurable, and make no distinctions based on the background of the students. Students, parents, teachers, and staff create and reinforce a culture of achievement and support, through a range of formal and informal rewards and consequences for academic performance and behavior.
We at Sage Academy know that there are no shortcuts when it comes to success in academics and life. With smaller class sizes, our teachers have more time to spend with your children helping them to acquire a solid foundation in their academic knowledge and skills that will help prepare them for excellence throughout their lives.
Sage Academy has been established to offer students and their families an opportunity to access a quality, supportive, yet demanding, educational environment. A strong concentration on Language Arts will prepare your child to approach every other discipline with confidence. Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies will be taught using active "hands-on" engagement and participation in the learning process.

"NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND" is the foundation for our teaching philosophy. These words are more than just the title of the United States Department of Education educational program, they represent our commitment to our students and our community. Each and every child within our school shall be treated as an individual child and his or her academic success is our sole reason for being here. Our children are taught the importance of good character with our Character Counts and through this are able to be more successful academically.

YES! Without parent involvement in their child's education, there is no possible way that the child is going to be able to achieve to his/her maximum potential in the educational process. It is you, the parent, who is the glue holding this whole process together for your child.
Yes, they are. The sole purpose of any educational institution is educating the child, and the environmental setting is a crucial element in the process. Students of all ages have an innate desire for structure, as we adults do. Uniforms provide this structure. Shirts are collared burgandy or green and the bottoms are tan or navy (no cargo pants). Uniforms are to be purchased from the school. Character Counts shirts will be worn on Fridays to encourage a sense of community and buy in to the Character Program.

Whether you have a child enrolled at Sage Academy or not, you're needed and wanted; no matter what your skills we have room for you, too!

A charter school is defined in ARS 150191 as a public school. Therefore, a charter school is eligible for the credit for the contributions made or fees paid to a public school to support extracurricular activities or character education.
Look at line 25 on the front page of your "140 Arizona Income Tax Return" and see if you have a dollar amount in that line. If you do, then you may be eligible to use the Arizona School Tax Credit. Check with the Enrolled Agent or other tax proffesional to see if you would like to redirect your tax dollars to the elementary school of your choice.
We would sincerely ask you to consider making your Arizona School Tax Credit contribution to the students of Sage Academy.

In 1994 the Arizona legislators took the lead in the development and formation of the Charter School legislation. The purpose of the Charter School system is to afford you, the parents, a choice in the educational process of your child.
Charter Schools are public schools that are operated by individuals or organizations from outside the traditional school district system. Charter Schools are free from many laws and regulations governing traditional public schools, allowing them to be more innovative in their educational programs, fiscal models, staffing, and governing structures.
